Short-Term Investments
These are investments where you will typically sell or refinance within 6 to 12 months’ time or slightly longer if required, so it’s absolutely paramount that the property is bought below market value or you can add value to sell it on by refurbishing or gaining planning permission to add value.

Medium-Term Investments
Typically anything investment between 5 to 7 years where you buy to enjoy the monthly cash flow on the rental income & sell when the market value of the property has increased in value.

The safest investment strategy is where you buy to enjoy the monthly cash flow & hold the property for 15 years, or never sell to create generational wealth. That way even in a downward market over the years prices will recover as we know there is a history of a property cycle.
